Thanks for all the things you've done for our Jacob and Joey. Words simply can't express how grateful and lucky we are to have you cared for our two joys in our world.
Welcome to the Arzaga family photo-blog. When words aren't enough or even necessary, the images alone tell the entire story. Our story. We hope this greeting finds all our family and friends, happy and healthy. Enjoy our site!
Navy vs Johns Hopkins NCAA LAX Quarterfinals
After a dreadful week of rain (and flooding in our basement AGAIN), it was a beautiful Saturday to watch two lacrosse games at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. There we witnessed a doubleheader between Maryland and UVA (who won in sudden death overtime) and the main attraction amongst our suitemates, USNA vs Johns Hopkins.
Navy had never won against JHU since Nixon was President, and it wasn't meant to be, as Navy extends their misfortune to 35 straight losses and an end to their season. Regardless, we all enjoyed ourselves during the game and afterwards, moseyed up and down Main Street in historic Annapolis - stopping at Pepper's for Navy apparel and dinner at Buddy's Crabs and Ribs.

National Train Day
We spent a day doing what else? yup, that's right...we celebrated National Train Day at the Union Station in Washington D.C. How better to get to our destination than using the metrorail subway. Jake and Joey thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the amazing opportunity to "people watch" all walks of life that uses public transportation.
Once there, we saw lots of model trains, train-related kid-friendly activities, blatant advertising of AMTRAK, and hordes of parents being dragged around the station by train-crazed children. It's a shame we missed Al Roker, but as as an added treat, we even stuck around a bit to listen to a free concert by Sara Bareilles.
