Summertime Disc Golfing

I believe the disc landed within eagle distance of the basket...Yes, Tristan, the pitch was AWESOME. Thank you for mentioning it...

It was definitely an improvement from a few months ago

Cub Scout Camping

Jacob and my sleeping quarters for our camping trip at Pohick Bay Regional Park. We were here camping along with 150 of our closest friends from Cub Scouts Pack 282.

Here's Jacob eating his marshmallows inside our tent. Mother nature decided to rain on our camp out... so much for roasting smores in an open fire pit.   We had one foot in our tents and the other in our car, just in case!

Not only did he manage to play a pickup of soccer in the rain, he received his well-earned Tiger Cub badge.

The rain stopped long enough for us to roast our s'mores after all.

It rained throughout the night, but luckily we were mostly protected  by the tree canopy above us.

Part of Jacob's Pack 10 after their morning breakfast of flapjacks, potatoes, and bacon.

So yeah, I'd say he had a good weekend of camping.
